Empire's family is coming together.
You mess with the Lyon, you'll get the cubs. Just ask Baretti (guest star Judd Nelson), Lucious' (Terrence Howard) rival label executive after he makes a play for Empire Records...using Anika (Grace Gealey) as his secret weapon!
"Watching how my family comes together to defend what's ours, everyone stands and backs me up, that's an amazing moment," Terrence Howard previews in our exclusive sneak peek at the Fox hit's March 4 outing.
The one son really stepping up? Jamal (Jussie Smollett), especially because Andre (Trai Byers) has decided to stop taking his meds for his bipolar disorder. And "complete chaos" is about to go down because of it, as you can see in the video above.
"It really is the beginning of Andre's full-on breakdown," Smollett teases, while Howard adds, "The stress was too much for him to bear, trying to live up to his father, live up to his brothers who have so much talent."
And all of this leads to the intense final showdown, which Byers describes as a "no holds barred war," between Andre and Lucious that will have everyone talking.
Oh, and if you've missed hearing Taraji P. Henson say "Boo Boo Kitty," then you're really going to want to press play on the exclusive video above!
In case you were wondering, Empire's ratings have still managed to climb with every episode; its most recent episode attracted 13.8 million viewers and a 5.3 demo rating. Long live the Empire indeed!
Empire airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Fox.
