Tom Brady and his bed head hair arrived in Glendale, Ariz. this morning for Super Bowl media day, where the 37-year-old quarterback answered reporters' questions about the big game, which will see the New England Patriots take on the Seattle Seahawks.
The press conference comes just five days after the sports star addressed the ongoing allegations against the Patriots, who were accused of playing with underinflated footballs at their AFC Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts.
And thankfully (or should we say unfortunately?) Tom Brady's balls were not the main topic of conversation.
Saturday Night Live took on the NFL scandal in a hilarious sketch starring Taran Killam as Brady, and while the piece was a hit with fans, Gisele Bündchen's hubby admits he didn't tune in!
"I did not see it," the sports stud confessed.
"I think we've always done a great job overcoming obstacles, and being mentally tough taking on things you can control," Brady said. "Regardless of what people say—good or bad—you have to understand you have people in your corner."
The esteemed football star also took a moment to applaud the Seattle Seahawks, particularly QB Russell Wilson, who has successfully led his team to two consecutive Super Bowls. Brady will be the first quarterback in history to kick off his sixth Super Bowl on Sunday.
"I never imagined this in my wildest dreams," the athlete admitted. "It's unbelievable to play in one."
As for why Brady's supermodel wife was not present at the press conference?
"She's at home with the kids," he shared.
Football season is undoubtedly an exciting time in the Brady-Bündchen household, although much to our surprise, not everyone in the family is a football fan.
"I got one that loves sports," he said of his five-year-old son Benjamin, adding that 2-year-old daughter Vivian Lee is still a little too young.
Meanwhile, we're just five days away from the Super Bowl XLIX, and Brady is in total focus-mode as he hopes to led his team to win the championship game.
So, what will he be listening on Sunday to get pumped up before he hits the field?
"Oh man, something that gets me hyped up, usually Jay Z. He's been a favorite of mine for a long time."
Wonder if Bündchen is fan of Queen Bey?
Bonus tidbit from the press conference: Patriots tight-end Rob Gronkowski revealed his celebrity crush—Pamela Anderson—and he also sang Katy Perry.
