Dianna Agron, Naya Rivera, Heather Morris, Glee

Are you ready to say goodbye, Glee fans?

The final season of the Fox dramedy finally has a premiere — and a finale — date, and it'll be here before we know it.

The show officially comes back on January 9th at 8 p.m. with a two-hour premiere. The season will consist of 13 episodes and will air on Fridays at 9 p.m., with the series officially taking its final bow on Friday, March 20th at 8 p.m. with another two-hour episode.

The best part? No. Breaks. That's right – Glee isn't wasting any time in order to bring us the final season we've been hoping for.

Season six will center around Rachel (Lea Michele) returning to Lima after failing as a TV actress to find that Sue (Jane Lynch) has finally, after all her years of trying, managed to banish the arts at McKinley High. Other McKinley alumnae will also return to say their goodbyes throughout the season, including Heather Morris, Naya Rivera, Dianna Agron, Mark Salling and more.

While many fans have been worried about the direction some of their favorite couples might be heading, we've been assured by the show's bosses to keep our chins up, especially if we're somehow worried that Blaine would ever actually end up with Karofsky as opposed to Kurt.

"It's Glee," co-creator Brad Falchuk told us. "Be happy. It's going to be OK."

"You have to have obstacles to have a happy ending," co-creator Ryan Murphy explained of some of the rumored plot lines. "I've spent a year learning what they want. We have a list in the writers' room that says, ‘What do the fans want to end that show?' And our endings are all very uplifting, and I think by the end of it, people will be ecstatic and really thrilled by how things turn out. I am."

And thank god, because with less than two months to go until the series returns to our television screens one last time, we need all the reassurance we can get!
