This is just so damn beautiful. And it's true what they say about Canadians: They are polite as hell.

Before the Toronto Maple Leafs played the Nashville Predators on Tuesday, singer Michelle Madeira was tasked with singing the national anthems for both countries. But in the middle of "The Star Spangled Banner," her mic cut out.

What happened next was as pure and as wonderful as a baby deer being born.

The stadium full of Canadians helped finish the American national anthem by belting out the rest of the song. A fan luckily captured the awesome moment on his phone so the rest of the world could enjoy it.

"Unfortunately the game was terrible (9-2 loss for the leafs)," he says in the YouTube description. "This anthem really was probably the best moment of the night (although the free beer samples were great too!). Glad I caught it on video."

Free beer samples? Canadians and Americans singing a patriotic song together? Hockey? That is the world we are proud to live in. Not the world that gave us Justin Bieber.

Sorry, friend to the North. We can never forgive you for that dude.
