This is truly inspiring.

We've come across a refreshing number of friendly celeb exes, but Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith have really promoted a great example when it comes to their relationship with his ex-wife Sheree Fletcher, and the trio proved that things are still going strong.

The Men in Black star's eldest son, Trey, celebrated his 22nd birthday on Friday at the Ghostbar Dayclub at the Palms in Las Vegas, and all three parental figures were present for the event.

The Hollywood Exes reality star, who was married to Will from 1992 to 1995, during his Fresh Prince days, greeted the duo with hugs and smiles, and even gushed about them on Instagram. "Celebrating @ace0011 with the BEST bonus mom ever!!! #Jada & babydaddy #VegasBaby," she wrote.

Trey, who also goes by the name DJ Ace, even spun a set at Ghostbar for his birthday.

And the love didn't stop in Vegas. Both Will and Jada posted sweet messages for the 22-year-old on Facebook.

With a throwback photo of himself and young Trey, Will wrote, "Trey is 22 years old today. WOW - I have a 22 year old. Happy Birthday T-Ball!"

Jada's post, also accompanied with a throwback photo, read: "Trey, I met you when you were two and today you are 22! You have blessed my life in ways I could have never imagined. You've burst my heart wide open, you've stretched my capacity of cooperation and compassion for our blended family and from that you've helped me discover the real meaning of...family. But most of all, there is a special twinkle in my heart that only you feed and it's a twinkle I wouldn't have without you in my life. I adore you Trey... Happy Birthday!!!!!!"

Last year, Jada posted an old photo of her and Sheree with an encouraging caption that explained their relationship with one another.

"When Trey's mother, Sheree, and I took this photo, we were not the women we eventually became. This was a moment when we BOTH made a decision to be BIGGER, to be BETTER, not just for our family but for ourselves as well. Do something today you thought you could NEVER do that makes you bigger and better. Sometimes we simply have to start with ACTING like it, even if we ain't actually feel'n it," she wrote.
