Ashley Monroe came this close to a wardrobe malfunction performing alongside Blake Shelton at the 2014 CMA Awards tonight. While belting a heart-stopping duet of "Lonely Tonight," Ashley's dress nearly exposed her bottom half more than once, with the slinky silver number just barely protecting the starlet from a Mariah Carey-esque performance misfire.
Itty-bitty hemline aside, the shimmering halter dress made for a mesmerizing performance outfit. In fact, it even resembled the country star's red carpet dress form earlier in the evening; a glittering metallic mini-shift dress. And while both outfits were obviously envy-worthy, it was her flawless physique we noticed most in both ensembles!
Ashley wasn't the only starlet to rock a mini at the awards show, with Connie Britton stepping out in a surprisingly short emerald dress. Even Meghan Trainor showed a little leg with a lacy cobalt cocktail dress.
Overall, we liked both of Ashley's metallic minis, minus the missing inches of hemline.
