Jennifer Garner looked sensational at Monday night's premiere of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. While posing for a picture with co-star Steve Carell, however, the actress' Valentino dress flew open, accidentally exposing the Spanx shape-wear she wore underneath the LBD.
Garner, 42, appeared to laugh off the wardrobe malfunction and went on to do several interviews. The movie star completed her look with Jimmy Choo heels, Neil Lane jewelry and an Oscar de la Renta bag. The Disney premiere was held at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. In addition to Carell and Garner, cast members Kerris Dorsey, Dylane Minnette, Ed Oxenbould and Bella Thorne walked the red carpet.
Coincidentally, in the October 2014 issue of InStyle magazine, Garner was asked what she would do if her dress were to ever rip on the red carpet. "Laugh—and reach for my boobs!" the actress answered. Speaking of her style, Garner said she's become "more comfortable dressing like" herself over the years.
Still, the married mother of three remained humble about her sartorial decisions, telling InStyle, "I can't imagine that anyone in the world would come to me for style advice! If you want to talk about making the perfect pizza crust or how to handle a toddler who won't sleep or potty-train, then we can chat."
