Just days before Keke Palmer is set to make her debut as the first African American Cinderella on Broadway, the 21-year-old underwent the big chop. The actress debuted a pixie cut on Instagram on Wednesday, posting three selfies to really give us a good look at the shorter style.
In the snapshots the actress can be seen grinning (she obviously likes her fresh crop) in a black lace crop top and matching skinny jeans. Her new look means she won't be sporting ultra cool ponytails for awhile—like she did at the 2014 Emmy Awards—but we bet she will get creative with her new length.
It's unclear whether this new cut was for her rags-to-riches role or if while playing the princess she will wear a wig. Guess we will find out on opening night, Sept. 9.
