Kerri Strug is a mom the second time around!
The 36-year-old retired Olympic gymnast and her husband Robert Fischer welcomed a baby girl on June 26. They named their bundle of joy Alayna Madeleine. Their new daughter arrived at 8:08 a.m. and weighed in at 7 pounds, 11 ounces, Strug told People. She joins 2-year-old big brother Tyler William, who was born June 2012.
Strug tweeted the exciting baby news with a precious pic of Alayna, writing, "Thanks! We're all healthy&happy! @USAGym 'Congrats to kerri &her family on their new addition!'"
"Robert and I are so proud of our family," Strug additionally told People. "We were so excited to give Tyler a sibling a couple of weeks ago, especially a baby sister."
"Alayna is beautiful and doing well," she added. "She is a good baby with a healthy appetite. We know she is going to follow in her big brother's footsteps and be independent, funny and extremely active before we know it!"
Congrats, you two!
