Parting is such sweet sorrow.
Today's category in our 2014 Best. Ever. TV. Awards is taking a moment to honor the shows we lost this past year. While some were canceled, others just wrapped up their epic runs, leaving us with Barney Stinson-sized holes in our hearts and chants of "Yeah, bitch!" ringing in our ears. (Still missing you so hard, Breaking Bad! Call us!)
But we also say goodbye to several fan favorite actors who wrapped up their characters' arcs, including standouts on The Good Wife and Sons of Anarchy, as well as stars on shows that were brutally ripped away from us. (RIP, Revolution and Community!)
Note: Actors who've already booked roles on other TV series were not included, including Person of Interest's Taraji P. Henson, who will star on Fox's Empire, and Community's Joel McHale, who you can still watch on E!'s The Soup. (Duh.)
Voting in this round will close on Sunday, July 6 at 5 p.m. PT, so make sure to vote as much and as often as you like to make sure your beloved show or star takes home the prize.
And while you're at it, use the #BestEverTVAwards hashtag on Twitter to spread the word to your fellow fans!
So break out the tissues and start voting already! (Warning, possible spoilers ahead!)
