The search is over: Maroon 5's "Maps" is streaming online!

The group's new single impacted radio stations and was made available for purchase on iTunes Monday. It serves as the first track off the band's forthcoming album, V, which will be released on Sept. 2, 2014.

Adam Levine, Matt Flynn, Mickey Madden and James Valentine reunited with long-time keyboardist Jesse Carmichael for the album; Carmichael took a hiatus while the band recorded 2012's Overexposed.

"I was there for you /In your darkest times / I was there for you / In your darkest nights," frontman Levine, 35, croons in the up-tempo track. "But I wonder where were you / When I was at my worst / Down on my knees / And you said you had my back / So I wonder where were you /All the roads you took came back to me / So I'm following the map that leads to you /The map that leads to you / Ain't nothing I can do / The map that leads to you / Following, following, following to you / The map that leads to you / Ain't nothing I can do /The map that leads to you / Following, following, following."

V is Maroon 5's fifth album and was recorded in L.A. in the last year. The three-time Grammy winners worked with producers including Benny Blanco, Max Martin, Sam Martin, Shellback and Ryan Tedder.
