Courtesy Funny Or DieUzo Aduba has proven to be a force to be reckoned with as Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren on Orange Is the New Black, but it almost didn't happen. Aduba said on Today that she auditioned for another role and originally was supposed to have a much smaller part. Thankfully, that changed, but Funny or Die is giving us a taste of what could have been and has "uncovered" Aduba's "leaked" audition reel.
In the video below, Aduba auditions for the roles of Taystee (with a Southern accent for some reason), Alex (where she drops the f-bomb a lot), Alex, Red, Poussey—which is just her doing a Lil Wayne—and more.
Viewers got to know more about Aduba's Crazy Eyes character in the newly released second season of Orange Is the New Black. In a flashback episode, which was one of the most heartbreaking episodes of the season, viewers saw Crazy Eyes meet her sister, get her trademark hairstyle and struggle in social situations. And it made us hate Vee (Lorraine Toussaint) all the more.
