Not two days ago we reported on Lupita Nyong'o's first major fashion misstep and now she's back in front of the camera looking as chic as always in a Caribbean ocean blue Calvin Klein Collection midi. We can barely remember the Academy Award-winner's miserable CFDA Fashion Awards look with the god-awful dizzying stripes and miserably fit surfer-style shorts!
But we're not going to talk about this tiny little mistake any more. The focus right now is on this cool blue number that looks like it was made for the Kenyan beauty's Hawaiian debut. The shades of sky and robin's egg are flawless against the future Star Wars star's deep skin, but it's that strip of red that really makes the modern design dazzle.
We're also huge fans of this athletic shape on the fit fashion lover. A high neckline and long skirt still manage to be totally sexy because of the body-hugging style.
So long story short, Lupita is back and better than ever, making us fully willing to forgive and forget.
