While it was nearly impossible to focus on anything else, we did somehow manage to appreciate some of the stunning beauty looks making their way down the red carpet.
One of them was even from the "Diamonds" singer herself. The pop star matched her glittery gown with an equally dazzling headscarf. For her makeup she rocked a smoky eye and nude lip combo—which if it's possible added even more sizzle to her already sexy look.
But enough about Bad Gal Ri Ri—there were other people on the carpet. Like, the always flawless Blake Lively. Fresh off her style streak at the Cannes Film Festival, the blond bombshell popped up on the arm of Michael Kors last night flaunting a very ‘60s vibe. The star tied back her extra voluminous waves with a simple headband and kept her makeup relatively fresh: a subtle cateye and coral lip tint.
And speaking of retro beauty looks, Solange had a very Diana Ross-inspired one. The singer (in Calvin Klein) ditched her Met Gala pixie wig, brushed out her voluminous curls, and swiped on a hot pink lipstick. Quite the stunning statement for her first red carpet appearance since the infamous elevator scandal. Well played, Solange!
