There's a lot we love about Lena Dunham, but until recently her fashion choices have not regularly made that list. To the Girls creator/star/writer/director's credit, she often steps out in major style risks. Unfortunately, they aren't met with much style reward.
But it appears the New York native has stumbled into a cut that suits her shape in a color combo that screams summer. This Fausto Puglisi frock worn to promote her brand new book, Not That Kind of Girl, is downright adorable from the cap sleeves to the palm tree pattern!
We first saw this defined waistline and triangular skirt situation on the Met Gala red carpet. Lena rocked a Giambattista Valli dress that was an equally fun take on the classic cocktail cut. Again, blacks and blues make her fair skin pop.
Her latest version of the similar style is even bolder thanks to the tropical feel, but the elements that work are still the same, which is a win for the HBO darling.
So does two wins mean we can call this a "signature style?" Unclear, but if we do, maybe Lena will catch on and rock it from here on out!
