Our top guesses are that Atelier Versace can make a dress out of absolutely anything or that plastic is just as good as leather?
What's disappointing is that if this dramatic look were done in any other fabric, it would be magnificent. Obviously the Unbroken director decided to don a design in the theme of her evil character, but she went a tad too far. Black, rubber detailing would be edgy and appropriate. This is like something out of a fashion nightmare, or a Zoolander remake...
We commend Brad Pitt's better half for going big, but this dress would be better off going home, to her kids' costume closet.
