Does a day go by where Jennifer Lawrence doesn't embarrass herself?

The adorably accident-prone actress squashed her beef with Jimmy Fallon Thursday after the Tonight Show host left her hanging during a recent event. "You had some scheme and it was crazy," Fallon said. "You wanted to dance with Jennifer Lopez and you wanted me to go over and dance with her, too."

Lawrence pointed out that she wasn't the mastermind. "We came up with this idea together," the X-Men: Days of Future Past star told Fallon. "We both saw J.Lo, and this was like 10 Jello shots in. And I've never done jello shots—I didn't go to college. So we were dancing and we J.Lo and were like, 'Well, we gotta get J. Lo to dance!' So I was like, 'We'll do a spin, and then we'll go, 'Dance with us!'"

The pals worked out the choreography in secret, not wanting Lopez to see them dancing prematurely.

Fallon, however, "was distracted by the music. "I didn't know that Kanye West was playing," Lawrence said. "How many Jello shots did I have?" She did the routine, but Fallon missed his marks. "I do it, he's gone and it's just me looking at J.Lo going, 'Dance with me!'" J.Law recalled. "She was like, 'I think I'm just gonna observe.' You made me look like a freak in front of J.Lo! Do you know what that feels like?"

The late-night host stopped mid-spin when he caught the eye of Lopez manager, who disapproved. "Well, I wish her manager had warned me!" Lawrence said, laughing. Fallon then apologized to her.

Lawrence and Fallon also played "Box of Lies," in which they had to pick boxes and then either tell the truth or fib about its contents to his or her opponent. Later, Fallon announced that after a faux feud on Twitter, Will Ferrell and Red Hot Chili Peppers' Chad Smith's "Drum Off" will take place May 22.
