Robin Thicke will be taking the stage on Sunday, and it seems like he'll be making a grand gesture for Paula Patton.

The handsome crooner will be making an appearance at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 18, and E! News has confirmed that he'll be performing a new song of his called "Get Her Back." Hmmm...

There's no denying that the title of the track suggests that this is yet another tactic Thicke is trying out to get his lady back. And the lyrics only further that assumption.

According to reports, the lyrics of his single go a little something like this: "I should've kissed you longer/ I should've held you stronger...All I wanna do is make it right...I gotta get her, go get her back/ I gotta treat her right/ I gotta cherish her for life."

"We will always love each other and be best friends; however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time," the pair said in a joint statement in February.

A month later, Thicke talked to E! News about the state of his marriage. "We're both very happy," he said. The "Give It 2 U" crooner also explained why his concerts sometimes seemed like confessionals. "I wasn't sharing anything except what I was going through at that very second," he said of his heartfelt admissions. "So for me, as an entertainer and a songwriter, it's important for the music to be honest."

Is there a chance Patton and Thicke will get back together? "We've known each other since we were teenagers. All I can tell you is there's a deep love there—always was, and always will be," Patton said in Vanity Fair's June 2014 issue.
