The stunning English actress has risen from under the radar recently, and she plays the character of Dido Elizabeth Belle in the new movie, Belle. She also majorly upped her fashion game and wore a strapless Lanvin floral gown to the 2014 Met gala just last week.
She's not a household name yet, but with a name like hers, she's bound to make an impression. Gugu has worked with top Hollywood names such as Tom Hanks, Kiefer Sutherland and J.J Abrams, and she's also made an impact on the fashion scene, having donned designer pieces from Lanvin, Escada and Burberry, just to name a few.
So what was one of our favorite looks of hers? We thought the Belle star looked ethereal and sweet when she opted for a gold lace Reem Acra dress styled with metallic Jimmy Choo pumps at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival.
