VM/FAMEFLYNET PICTURES Despite their ongoing marriage troubles post-cheating scandal, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott stepped out Wednesday to celebrate their eighth wedding anniversary as a married couple.
The 40-year-old actress and her 47-year-old hubby enjoyed a romantic dinner together at Katsu-Ya Japanese restaurant in Encino yesterday. The couple drove to the eatery together from their home and were seen chatting during the drive and seemed to be in pleasant moods.
At Katsu-Ya, Dean was a courteous husband and opened the door for his lady while she carried her gift from him. Dean was sporting jeans and a navy shirt while Tori donned black pants, flats and a black-and-white printed sweater. Both stars had big sunglasses on as they entered the restaurant.
Inside, they dined for about an hour and a half before heading to get massages together nearby. They enjoyed their R&R sessions for over an hour.
Earlier in the day, Tori and Dean were spotted out and about separately: Dean picked up some lingerie (presumably his anniversary gift for Tori) at Victoria's Secret while Tori hit Bed, Bath & Beyond.
Their anniversary outing comes amid lots of family drama for Tori and Dean. On this week's episode of their documentary True Tori, the couple emotionally addressed Dean's affair. "It was just a warm body," he said during a therapy session. "I felt like I was on auto-pilot."
"Our sex life was never enough. I thought he was really happy with me," Tori admitted. "At the end of the day, it still makes me feel really bad about myself...I wasn't good enough."
