While infinite words can—and will—be written about the individual looks parading down the red carpet tonight at the 2014 Met Gala in New York City, it's just as fun to drool over Hollywood's hottest couples, some of whom don't get out to such fancy events together too often!

There are some—Beyoncé and Jay Z, Victoria and David Beckham, Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, etc.—who are old pros at this type of thing.

But then there are others, both couples old and new, who are more elusive when it comes to black-tie events. 

Seriously, it's not every night that Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard and Sean Penn and Charlize Theron are all walking the same carpet, as they did Monday at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Heck, we barely get to see Ryan and Blake dressed up at the same time, and they've been married for a year and a half.
