If the White House had known Sofia Vergara would show up everyone in the District of Columbia with this couture, they might not have invited the Colombian beauty.

Though, the boring fashions of the beltway could probably use some friendly clothing competition. Too bad no one but TV's hottest stepmom could pull off this Romona Keveza dress so masterfully. That's our kind of political power play.

But what we love most about this incredible column on the Chef star is that it's more understated than her typical bead-covered extravaganzas. The strapless top still packs plenty of metallic punch, but a simple ivory mermaid cut skirt balanaces it out beautifully. All body parts are fully covered, which is rare for the ABC star, but she still looks as sexy and glamorous as any on-screen siren.
