Jordin Sparks

Revealing how much you weigh on national television isn't exactly something that the average woman is eager to do, but Jordin Sparks wants to send the message that it's really not that scary.

The 24-year-old singer sat down with Today's Jenna Bush Hager this morning as a part of their "Love Your Selfie, Reclaiming Beauty" week to talk about her amazing body transformation.

She explained that when she decided to make a change, it was all about making her health a priority. "I was comfortable with how I looked before, but it was about really focusing on become healthier," said Jordin. "And then my body changed, which was awesome. But it wasn't about being a size zero, or anything like that."

Through exercise and changing her diet, Jordin lost an incredible 50 pounds in 18 months. So, if you're wondering where that leaves Jordin weighing in at now, she isn't shy to reveal her weight.

"I fluctuate a bit. I go anywhere from 155 to 161," she said. "There we go! There it is in a box, in a nutshell, right from my mouth. That it is how much I weigh, and I'm okay with it. It feels really good," the 6-foot beauty said with a smile.

She's been hitting the red carpet looking fabulous in curve-hugging outfits, and just the other week she posted a picture of herself on Instagram in a bikini before she headed out to Tao's beach season opening in Las Vegas.

She posted the pic with the caption, "My bathing suit today! BIG step for me to wear something like this on a carpet. Yeah, yeah, yeah I know it was for a pool party...but for ME, this was HUGE. I'm still learning more about my health & body confidence everyday!"

We have to imagine it's not an easy thing to reveal your weight to the world, and we give Jordin major props for sending the message that it feels good to fully embrace your body.
