On Wednesday, the singer took to Instagram and posted a pic showing himself covering his head and part of his face with something that apparently belonged to Harry Styles.
"Robbed Harry's hat," Payne captioned the photo.
Oh, those boy-banders! Such jokesters.
Meanwhile, there was certainly nothing to laugh last weekend when 47 One Direction fans were treated for asphyxia at one of the group's concerts in Peru.
According to MTV News, the incident occurred during a show at Lima's Estadio Nacional on Sunday after fans rushed toward the stage in the stadium that holds 40,000 people.
Niall Horan reportedly told the crowd, "If you don't want anyone to take us off the stage, make sure you stay back," with Payne adding, "Or we'll have to go, and we don't want to go."
The fans treated were "between the ages of 12 and 15," and fortunately, there were no serious injuries.
The concert resumed soon after the scary situation.
