There was a lot more drama during The Bachelor: After the Final Rose special that viewers didn't see.

E! News has learned that the "overall energy was so negative" and that people in the audience were "told to applaud and they wouldn't." Yikes!

It looks like viewers and audience members alike couldn't help but show their disdain for Juan Pablo Galavis.

"Everyone working on the show—the production team—just seemed to be so done with him. They seemed relieved to finally be finished with this guy," and insider tells us.

And the bitter feelings are mutual it seems…

Another source close to the show told us that "Juan Pablo is over the show just as much as the show is over him. He fulfilled his contractual obligations and now he wants to be left alone."

In fact, one major Bachelor duty that he's skipping out on are press interviews following the final special.

We're told that he's been pulled him from all press because "there is too much bad blood" and that he's "terrible in interviews." Not to mention, terribly unpredictable.

There were also many uncomfortable must-see moments, including when Chris Harrison asked about Juan Pablo's plans now that the show is done filming.

He responded by saying that there was a sudden change of plans around two weeks ago but didn't divulge any of the specifics.

So what was he really referring to?

The Dancing With the Stars casting chaos, of course!

E! News first reported that the Bachelor was being seriously considered for the dancing competition's 18th season, but that he got the boot because ABC felt he was "just too risky."

It turns out that Juan Pablo and Nikki had plans to stay in Los Angeles during rehearsals and filming for DWTS, but their next moves are slightly uncertain.

A source explained to us that they decided to not sign Juan Pablo on board because there was "too much negativity at this point."

What do you think? Worst Bachelor ever or just misunderstood? Sound off in the comments!
