But after hours of agonizing over hits and deep cuts, old-school tracks and the new stuff, we narrowed it down to this list, our definitive list, of Britney's best songs.
And then we ranked them.
It was heartbreaking. It was emotional. It was toxic (spoiler alert: "Toxic" made the cut). But in the end, some songs just stand out among the rest. As we prepare for the premiere of I Am Britney Jean this weekend, we listened to Brit's entire discography and picked the best of the best.
