Reese Witherspoon looks great with brown hair, but shh! It's a wig.
The 37-year-old actress posted a picture from The Good Lie set to her WhoSay page on Thursday, Dec. 5. Reese has long brunette locks in the selfie, taken alongside costar Arnold Oceng, and while this darker hue certainly suits the Oscar winner, it's far from permanent!
The very same day, Reese was snapped on her way into an L.A. chiropractor's office with her trademark blond tresses back intact! The Legally Blonde beauty's hair also hit just above her shoulders, making it several inches shorter than the brunette wig she wore on set.
Reese has crossed over to the dark side before, though. In March 2013, the mom of three went brunette. During this particular non-blond period, Reese was arrested for disorderly conduct after hubby Jim Toth was pulled over under the suspicion of driving while intoxicated. She was arrested after disobeying repeated instruction from a police officer to remain in their car.
She apologized, of course, and was even able to see the humor when pal Chelsea Handler joked that her "favorite project of [Reese's] was an overlooked short film" in which the actress "plays a very inebriated housewife defending her inebriated husband."
