Kimberly Perry is off the market, y'all!

The Band Perry singer is engaged to Toronto Blue Jays catcher J.P. Arencibia, her rep confirmed to E! News Tuesday, Oct. 30.

J.P., 27, proposed on the night of Monday, Sept. 30, at Kimberly's parents' home in Greenville, Tenn. And according to The Tennessean, who was first to report the couple's happy news, it was one romantic proposal!

When the Perry family moved to their 15-acre spread when Kimberly, now 30, was a teenager, she was immediately drawn to an oak tree in the yard. "If I get proposed to in this life, I hope it happens underneath this tree," she said.

The singer thought her family was meeting up to go to dinner, but when they called her outside and J.P. was standing under the oak tree, she knew something different was going down. "I saw that and I thought, 'This is really happening,'" she said.

From there, Kimberly's mother got out her daughter's favorite pink dress and a letter and bracelet her grandfather had given to her grandmother when they started dating. "I came back out on the front porch and he was standing there and he got down on one knee," Kimberly said. "It was perfect."

Awww. As for how the future bride and groom first met? That's also pretty darn cute. In February of 2012 at the Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City, Fla. The Band Perry was performing.  J.P., a fan of Kimberly's from her music videos, used his connections to get backstage. There, he introduced himself to Kimberly at a meet and greet, asked for her number and, well, the rest is history!
