Many a gal from last night's MTV Video Music Awards had us buzzing over their outfits, including Erin Wasson, who left little to the imagination with a head-turning see-through dress.
So, when we caught up with the leggy lady at the annual award show, we just had to ask her about her risqué ensemble, which saw her sporting a sexy bandeau top and itty-bitty bottoms underneath daring sheer fabric that hugged her bare curves.
"It's Alexander Vauthier," she revealed of her look straight off the designer's fall 2013 couture runway. "He is the gangster of haute couture Paris."
And, apparently, Wasson loves badass style that ignores the rules. In fact, the model, who will star alongside Rihanna in the singer's upcoming fashion design competition show Styled to Rock in the fall, also opened up to us about being a huge fan of the singer's fiercely individualistic style.
"Rihanna is unapologetic, fearless, unequivocal, unique and it's just her," Wasson said of the singer's fashion sense. "She puts her stamp on everything when she walks into a room."
Indeed, proving that she doesn't subscribe to red carpet norms, RiRi skipped the gowns and super-sexy get-ups that were fashion staples at the VMAs, and instead went with a surprisingly casual T-shirt-and-jeans combo.
"She has a really amazing way with the combination of street and chic and she has a way to refine the idealism of street wear," Wasson went on to say. "I find that really interesting especially for a female."
Hmm, perhaps we can expect Wasson to ditch the sexy see-through numbers in favor of a simpler ensemble next year, thanks to her style crush?
