The X Factor has released its first official poster for season three featuring the Fox reality competitions' revamped judging panel and it looks like Simon Cowell will have his hands full (and an aching neck) come Sept. 11!
In the picture, returning judge Demi Lovato has her hands around a smiling Cowell's throat and is flanked by X Factor newbies Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio. "Simon thinks he's in charge," the poster reads. "He'd better think again."
Earlier this month, Cowell talked about the show's ever-changing judging panel, which saw the exit of L.A. Reid and Britney Spears after season two. "It's like having a dinner party," Cowell said. "You invite people for dinner and sometimes it's a fun night and other times it's not as fun as you hoped it would be. This [season] is a fun dinner party."
Of course, Rowland and Rubio aren't the only new additions in Cowell's life.
Cowell recently broke his silence about becoming a father for the first time with Lauren Silverman, the ex-wife of his former friend. "I'm proud to be a dad," he said. "It's something I haven't thought of before, and then, now I know I feel good about it. And she's [Silverman] a very special girl."
And he isn't the only X Factor judge with big news to share lately: Lovato is set to join Fox's hit series Glee for six episodes as a new friend of Lea Michele's Rachel and Naya Rivera's Santana in New York City.
Lovato will put her pipes to good use on Glee as she's set to share scenes and musical numbers with American Idol alum Adam Lambert, who also booked a guest gig on the series.
The X Factor season three premieres Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 8 p.m. on Fox.
