The 35-year-old beauty and her costars from The Real recently stopped by HOT97NY, where the mother of one shared an incredibly candid coital confession, admitting she did not lose her virginity until she was 29 years old.
"I don't know how to explain this. I'm religious, so I waited until I was 29 to lose my virginity," the Style Network star reveals. "You may not understand this [but] I did it, then I felt guilty, then I became celibate until I got married."
The former Sister Sister star wed Fox News correspondent Adam Housley in May 2011.The couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Aden John Tanner Houseley, in November.
After her honest admission, Tamara was quick to note she's not any less experienced when it comes to her bedroom skills, boosting about her breadth of knowledge when the ladies from The Real had a sex therapist on the show.
"Guess who knew everything?" the new mom gloats, proudly pointing at herself.
And pal Adrienne Bailon also jumped to Tamera's defense.
"Just because you only had sex with one person doesn't mean you're not a freak, and I think that that's a good thing," she says. "I think people think that you could only be a freak by doing it with a bunch of people. You can be a freak and just be a freak with one person. That is beautiful and dope," she added as Tamara nods her head in approval.
Mowry-Housley also dished on hyphenating her last name after tying the knot, admitting she does intend to one day legally change her surname.
"Well this is the way I see it, I've worked really really hard for Tamera Mowry," she explains. "I will eventually change my name to be Tamera Housley, but I'll be Tamera Mowry—that's going to be my acting name."
Despite Tamera's busy schedule, the actress has been enjoying life as a new mom, and she's even shared a few sweet photos of her bundle of joy on social media.
"@adamhousley and I are very overjoyed with love and feel so blessed. Being a new mommy ROCKS!" she wrote after giving birth.
