Prince Harry has made his way to the States, and officially kicked off his busy trip to America after landing in Washington D.C. this afternoon.

But there's no time to lounge around and enjoy the view (or screams from female fans) for this uncle-to-be, because his schedule is jam-packed!

The young royal headed straight to Capitol Hill to meet up with Michelle Obama (and a number of excited female staffers) for "Joining Forces Mother's Day Tea" to honor America's military moms, where he joined children in making mementos for their mothers by helping them write messages on their gift bags. "We are absolutely thrilled he could be with us today," the first lady said.

He then went on a tour of an exhibition staged by the HALO Trust—the largest mine-clearance charity in the world and a favorite cause of Harry's late mum, Princess Diana, where he was seen strolling alongside Sen. John McCain, who couldn't help but comment on the screams Harry received from lady admirers on the street.

"He was kind of embarrassed [by the screaming], I think a normal reaction," McCain told The Daily Mail. "I'm sure it's not the first time he has had that experience, but in all the years I've been coming here, I've never seen such an unbalanced gender gap."

Tonight, the young royal will head to a dinner and reception at the home of the British Ambassador, Sir Peter Westmacott, where he's expected to make a speech.

And continue to make females swoon, of course.
