Meryl Streep and Daughter Mamie Gummer Step Out Together After News of Split From Ben Walker

29-year-old Side Effects star is leaning on her mother for support

Quality mother-daughter time is always the best distraction!

Just one day after the news broke of Mamie Gummer and husband Ben Walker's split after nearly two years of marriage, the 29-year-old star stepped out with mother Meryl Streep in Vancouver, Canada.

The Side Effects star walked her dog while the duo laughed and chatted, looking relaxed and content as they enjoyed the springtime sunshine. 

Mamie wore a cute and cozy ensemble of baggy gray pants, white cardigan and scarf, while her Oscar-winning mama rocked black pants, a jacket, a printed blouse and a bright orange handbag.

News of Gummer and Walker's split hit the Web the very same day Walker wrapped his Broadway run in Cat in a Hot Tin Roof opposite Scarlett Johansson.

The estranged couple met back in 2008 while performing a Broadway revival of Dangerous Liaisons and tied the knot in 2011.
