Ian Somerhalder, The Vampire Diaries, Stephen Amell, Arrow

The CW

It's a battle of the CW hunks!

Arrow star Stephen Amell confirmed that he had "a meeting" with the producers of Fifty Shades of Grey, the highly anticipated film adaptation of E. L. James' bestselling BDSM novel. Of course, he isn't the only hot leading man up for the role of Christian Grey: His fellow CW star Ian Somerhalder, who stars on the hit series The Vampire Diaries, has been campaigning for the role!

You know what that means: It's time to dreamcast Christian Grey. So who should strip down on the big screen: Amell or Somerhalder?

Amell decided to tackle rumors of his involvement in the film head-on by posting a video on his Facebook page saying, "I get questions about Christian Grey all the time. That project is a long way off. I know this, because I had a meeting about it."

Though he hasn't confirmed or denied reports that he's had meetings with the film's producers, Somerhalder, who has read the steamy page-turner, has expressed interest in the role. "I absolutely would be up for that...Absolutely. That would be a pretty incredible thing. And hopefully that could pan out, I think."

Both actors are well suited for the role (um, have you seen them shirtless?!) and have appeared nude in previous projects: Amell stripped down for his arc as a male gigolo on HBO's Hung, while Somerhalder also got naked for HBO in Tell Me You Love Me.

But it seems like Somerhalder may have a leg up on the competition as James seems to favor the former Lost star for the role. When a fan tweeted her a photo of Somerhalder as Grey, James responded with a smiley face.

This one is just too close to call, so let's take it to a vote, shall we? (Let's be honest: We're all the real winners here!)
