Foursome is all smiles on leisurely double date through Hollywood Hills Wednesday

Katy Perry and John Mayer took a leisurely hike in the Hollywood Hills Wednesday with a group of pals that included CollegeHumor cofounder Ricky Van Veen.

John and Ricky are longtime friends, and luckily for everyone, their girlfriends hit it off right away, too. In fact, our favorite California Gurl took Brian Williams' daughter Allison Williams as her date to the 2013 Grammys.

"She's the hottest date," Allison said of Perry on Anderson Live. "Obviously she's awesome. She's the best."
