Pretty soon, we won't be able to go to there. And by "there," we mean anyplace that Liz Lemon is occupying.
30 Rock's final season officially begins tonight, so when we talked to Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan and the rest of the cast at last night's premiere party, we had to find out if they were as bummed out as we were.
"We have officially been voted off the NBC island," Jane Krakowski says sadly. "It is very bittersweet. I think it's going to be very hard to hear, 'that is a series wrap' for all of us. I think we are all very aware this is as good as it gets." After seven years, some castmembers literally grew into adulthood on the show. Case in point: Katrina Bowden.
"I'm just going to miss my family on 30 Rock. I was 17 when I started," she tells us. "Every learning experience has been partly because of this show. It's definitely something I will never forget."
And finally, when the always-amazing Tina Fey was asked what she was most proud of after all these years on 30 Rock, her answer was priceless.
"The thing I know for sure that I'm the most proud of having done over the past seven years is keeping 200 people or more employed doing TV in New York City," she says. "Our crew has mostly stayed together. That's the biggest deal, that we've all had a job every day."
Watch our interviews with the cast above, and then head on down to the comments and tell us what you'll miss most about 30 Rock.
(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
