How's this for a political ad?

Six years after The West Wing went off the air, several castmembers from the series have reunited to recreate their roles for a campaign spot for, no, not Barack Obama or Mitt Romney, but rather a Michigan Supreme Court candidate in a nonpartisan race.

Wait, what?

Yep. State judicial candidate Bridget McCormack managed to wrangle the likes of Martin Sheen, Allison Janney, Bradley Whitford and several others to shoot a video that parodies their political drama.

So, how did McCormack pull it off?

Well, with a little help from her sister, Mary McCormack, who played security advisor Kate Harper on the program and who also appears in the mini-movie, which was designed to urge people to vote in nonpartisan Supreme Court elections.

Hey, whatever gets these beloved characters—along with an Apocalypse Now joke—in the same room works for us!
