Little White Lies

Kristen Stewart likes playing with fire, perhaps a little too much.

Before she suffered through the public humiliation that was her indiscretion with Rupert Sanders, the Twilight star gave an interview to U.K. magazine Little White Lies in which she (unconsciously?) offered up a preview of the scandal to come by saying "she just 'loved to suddenly feel out of control'."

Paging Dr. Freud.

Last month, as Twi-hards the world over know by now, Stewart was forced to publicly apologize to now-ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson after she was caught red-handed having a steamy rendezvous with her married Snow White and the Huntsman director, photos of which made the cover of Us Weekly.

But before the news broke, during the sit-down that took place at last May's Cannes Film Festival to promote her new flick, On the Road, the 22-year-old thespian shed light on her state of mind while she's working—and just maybe what the heck she was thinking when she cheated on Rob.

"Oh my god, I f—-ing love it so much," Stewart offered about being a big screen actress. "I'm like, bursting. I should be working. I don't want to take a break. It's funny, on set, I don't have to go to the bathroom, I don't have anything wrong, I'm perfectly fine, so through-and-through. I'm not hungry. I'm literally not even in my own body. They wrap and they send me back to my trailer and I f---ing fall to pieces. I suddenly realize that I've had to pee for six hours. And I'm starving."

And perhaps starved for love?

Acting, said Stewart, gave her a much-needed emotional release that real life seemed to be missing—at least until her embarrassing betrayal of Pattinson prompted her to go into hiding where she's been reportedly crying nonstop, according to some tabloid reports.

"I just really am trying, trying, all the time. But I like to be scared. I love to suddenly feel out of control," K.Stew told the magazine about her profession. "Actors walk around wearing these little tool-belts of acting skills. And I just don't find that interesting to watch. I never want to see someone who clearly can cry at the drop of a hat. That's so uninteresting. And so many actresses are so f---ing crazy. They're emotional wrecks, so they pretend to be these characters. But the emotions aren't coming from the right place. Do you know what I mean?"

Yeah, Kristen, we think we know what you mean. The latest Little White Lies issue hit newsstands on Thursday.
