If we got a nickel every time New Girl brought in a new love interest for Zooey Deschanel, we'd be very, very rich TV lovers!

Following in the footsteps of Justin Long, Dermot Mulroney and True Blood's Ryan Kwanten, we've exclusively learned that Broadway star Josh Gad, who most recently appeared in the hit musical Book of Mormon, is set to guest star in the season premiere of the hit Fox comedy as a man looking to woo Deschanel's adorkable Jess.

Gad, who will star in NBC's midseason comedy 1600 Penn, will play the character Bearclaw (yes, that's really his name!), a beer delivery guy at Nick's (Jake Johnson) bar. While his name is questionable, the guy does have good taste in women as he tries to catch the attention of Jess. (Something tells us Nick might not be too crazy about this scenario.)

Gad's episode will air at 9 p.m. on Sept. 25, but New Girl will also have an original episode airing at 8 p.m. that night as well. You know what we say: double the New Girl, double the awesomeness. The Tony Award nominee recently guest-starred on Modern Family and has made appearances on Californication and Bored to Death. Gad will also play Steve Wozniak to Ashton Kutcher's Steve Jobs in next year's Jobs.

Also set to guest star on New Girl in season two are Leslie Mann, Niecy Nash and David Walton
