Game of Thrones' second season just ended, but that doesn't mean we can't start demanding info about next season! Ask, and ye shall receive.

HBO announced today that production on season three of Game of Thrones will start in early July, and will once again involve a globe-trotting plethora of shooting locations, including a brand-new country that GoT has not yet visited...

Production will continue to be based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, as well as Croatia and Iceland. For season three, a new location has been added to the schedule: Morocco, presumably for Daenerys' (Emilia Clarke) storyline.

Also announced by HBO are next season's directors and returning writers. Showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss will get behind the camera in season three to direct episodes. Alex Graves, Michelle MacLaren, Dan Minahan, David Nutter and Alik Sakharov will direct episodes as well.

Along with Benioff and Weiss, writers returning include: Bryan Cogman, George R.R. Martin and Vanessa Taylor.

The only thing left to know about season three is casting, which HBO claims will be announced soon. So keep waiting with bated breath, GoT fans!
