Billy Campbell, The Killing

Who killed Rosie Larsen? If you are still asking yourself that question, congratulations! Your patience is about to pay off. The Killing season two finale drops on Sunday and finally—after what seems like years, but on the show translates to mere weeks—the show will land on a killer.

We went to Billy Campbell—the man behind the show's previous person of interest, politician Darren Richmond—for all the dirt on the season finale that will "shock" you.

"It was pretty terrific," Campbell praises. "All I can say is that I think the ending is perfect. I think it's both a shock and it makes perfect sense. Actually kind of a double shock." Does that give you any hints who the killer could be? We all have our own theories—Rosie's animal killing little brother is looking awfully suspicious.

But if you can't guess Rosie's killer, you aren't the only one. Campbell only found out who the killer was when he read the last script, but being left in the dark along with the audience was a good thing. "You have a tendency as an actor to broadcast whether you're a good or a bad guy," he explains. Fortunately there are a lot of guilty-looking suspects.

Don't worry cliffhanger-phobes, there won't be any ambiguity in this finale. "There is no cliffhanger about this season," Campbell tells us. "Maybe some hint of something to come, but this season and this case are entirely resolved." Are you going to miss the Rosie Larsen case?

The show got heat and whole lot of backlash after the first season ended with no resolution to Rosie's murder, but Campbell took the criticism in stride. "The only thing that really occurred to me is, 'Wow, there's a lot of people who are passionate about the show.'" Passionate is probably an understatement.
