We often cringe when we write about country music stars.

America may love them, but many of their stylists, apparently, do not. Their red carpet looks tend to fall into two camps: hootenanny at mee-maw's or a USO show gone very, very wrong.

But then came Carrie Underwood and our faith in fashion at the CMT Music Awards was restored in a matter of seconds...

We've got nothing but love for the 29-year-old's Randi Rahm mini dress and not only because it fits her age—and her bod—perfectly. With a frock as spangly as that, the "Good Girl" singer knew to keep accessories to a minimum: simple, wavy locks, Gio Diev booties and a Swarovski clutch.

Underwood also brought her hockey player hubby, Mike Fisher, to the awards show in Nashville this week—and if that man isn't a sweet accessory, then we don't know what is!
