Have you ever wanted to knock an overzealous guy out cold while he gives a inspirational speech just to shut him up?

Theon Greyjoy got that treatment last night in the Game of Thrones finale, which was hilariously awesome. Of course when we chatted with Alfie Allen before the final season-two episode aired, he was more concerned with what happens after the bump to the head…

"I think that scene with Roderick is his massive turning point...basically, he realizes that he's gone too far to turn back now, and he has to just continue to be this person that he's set out to be," Allen tells us. "When really deep down, I think he just wants approval from his family...I think when he learns it's gone too far for that, I don't think they are going to give their approval, I think then it's all about power for him."

As for the Battle of Blackwater in episode nine, Allen says he was just like the viewers when it came to the fight scene: in complete awe.

"I remember going on there for the first day and just sort of looking around at the amount of extras on set and it's just truly epic," he tells us. "And obviously you've seen episode nine now, and [it's] just unbelievable how much money was pumped into that and you can see it on the screen and the result was just fantastic."

And for our ratings fans out there, the finale of Game of Thrones broke records with 4.2 million viewers at 9 p.m. But come on, are you really surprised by that number?
