Men In Black 3

Sony Pictures

If you want to see Men in Black 3 in its entirety, you may want to steer clear of any theaters in China.

Apparently movie censors over there didn't take too kindly to some of the content and decided to snip about 13 minutes from the Will Smith-starring flick.

Per The Telegraph, censors frowned upon a couple of scenes where some aliens disguise themselves as employees at a Chinese restaurant in New York City's Chinatown, saying it cast those of Chinese ancestry in a bad light.

What's more, offense was taken when Smith's Agent J erases the memories of a group of Chinese bystanders.

"This could have been a hint on the use of internet censorship to maintain social stability," commented China's Southern Daily newspaper (via The Telegraph).

So, they may have censored the scene because it may or may not have alluded to already-existing censorship? OK, then.
