The hip-hop heavyweight announced he'll perform two free shows this weekend in Detroit and Miami as part of a voter-registration drive on behalf of the Democratic presidential nominee.
Saturday's concert will take place at Motor City's Cobo Arena; Sunday's gig at Miami's Bayfront Park.
The Blueprint MC, a fixture on Obama's iPod, is expected to encourage voters to register and vote for the Illinois senator on Nov. 4.

On Tuesday, the Obama folks confirmed that Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel will perform a joint concert together for the first time at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom on Oct. 15 as part of a benefit for the Senator's campaign. Springsteen will also play a separate get-out-the-vote show for Obama this weekend in Philadelphia.
