Woman of the People: Zoe Saldana Rides the Subway

Actress forgoes the star treatment and opts to take public transportation

Clearly being in the biggest movie of all time hasn't gone to Zoe Saldana's head.

While the Avatar actress surely has the means to hire, say, a limo to get her from point A to point B, it's nevertheless nice to know she's willing to sometimes rough it with the rest of us.

Over the weekend, Zoe, along with sister Cisely, was spotted in New York City riding the subway.

Then again, the 33-year-old Star Trek star does know a thing or two about everyday transportation.

Just ask her friend Elmo.
