Warning: the following Grey's Anatomy clip may cause squealing. We advise against watching it in public.

Gird your loins, Mark (Eric Dane) and Lexie (Chyler Leigh) fans 'cause Thursday's all-new episode may just be too much for you to handle! How do we know this? We're psychic! We jest, we jest!

We know this because we got our hands on an exclusive sneak peek that involves Mark saying a four-letter word to Lexie. Yes, really!

"I miss you."

OK, so it's not that four-letter word, but it's still a pretty darn good one, right?! Even better? The fact that she says it back.

So what brings on this "miss"-filled conversation? Mark asking Lexie if he's the reason she and Jackson (Jesse Williams) broke up earlier this season. She assures him he's not (lies!) and also says he doesn't make her uncomfortable. Longing glances may or may not be exchanged.

This clip seems to be only the tip of the iceberg for Mark and Lexie, as the description of episode 23 says, "Mark admits to Derek that he is torn between his love for Lexie and the fact that Julia can give him everything he's ever wanted." Feel free to squeal at any time.

Grey's Anatomy airs tomorrow at 9 p.m. on ABC.
