On the Road, Cosmopolis, Poster

Icon Films, Entertainment One

It's a good old-fashioned cinema showdown between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart!

To celebrate the news that On the Road has officially been selected to debut at this year's Cannes film festival, a poster for the movie—featuring Kristen Stewart rocking some retro shades and sporting the official selection seal of the "Festival de Cannes"—was released.

And with the release of a shiny Cosmopolis poster sporting a spiffy Rob earlier this month, we have to ask: Which of the Twilight twosome's Cannes premieres are you more excited for?!

Let's be honest, we're the real winners when R.Pattz and K.Stew both have new movies coming out!

But while this won't be the only time this year the duo have projects hitting theaters around the same time (Snow White and the Huntsman and Bel Ami arrive within a week of each other), these two movies will go head-to-head with each other to claim top honor next month.

And today, they're battling it out to see which film the jury of Awful Truth readers prefers.

First, there's On the Road:

Kristen stars in an adaptation of the classic Jack Kerouac novel and, from what we've seen and heard, things will get pretty steamy. K.Stew plays Marylou—wifey of Garrett Hedlund's character—and, if the topless-ness in the trailer wasn't enough to pique your interest, she's apparently got quite the naughty sexual appetite (as in threesomes, for one).

And then there's Cosmopolis:

Also based off literature (by Don DeLillo), the movie teams Rob up with director David Cronenberg for a sex-and-violence-filled romp around New York (with an emphasis on both, in the trailer R.Pattz shoots his own hand with a gun and scores plenty of skin-on-skin time). And with how "sensational" Cronenberg has said his lead is, Rob has a lot to live up to.

We know Robsten is all about supporting each other—they'll be doing the red carpet together with Kristen's mama, Jules Stewart, whose own film K-11 has been generating a ton of buzz—but there's nothing wrong with a little couple competition.

So now you must make the tough call: Are you more excited for Kristen's classic (and sexy!) saga about the Beat Generation or Rob's intense trek across Manhattan to get a haircut?
