First off, congrats to the new queen of all boob-tube jokesters, Melissa McCarthy, who nabbed the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Bridesmaids! Uh, we mean Mike & Molly!

But speaking of the big-screen gal-pal romp, when we spotted the babe with her shiny new trophy, all we could think of was seeing her squatting over a sink and letting it all out—burps, gags and farts included.

So how does it feel to be involved in such a seminal gross-out comedy scene?

"We were trying to do [the food poison scene] like a segment in a horror movie," Melissa, who, when she hit backstage, still seemed genuinely shocked to have won the award over the likes of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, told us. "It was less about being gross."

Well, it was still kinda gross. Hysterically so, of course.

Let's face it, the Bridesmaids bunch did for puking what Jim Carey did for farting (Dumb and Dumber, anyone?), so we had to know how Melissa and company were going to top themselves next, ya know, in terms of bodily functions...

"We're just gonna go down the list!" She teased...or threatened. Yikes, what does that mean? Does that confirm there's a Bridesmaids 2 in our (hopefully near) future?

"I hope so!" Melissa gushed to us. "I had such a great time with those women, and I would stay in a room with them for the next 25 years. I loved every second of that."

As did we, which is why it would be criminal not to make another installment.

So with all the excitement this year, how is she holding up?

"I'm trying to take it all in," Melissa pondered. "You hope you get a job, you hope you do a good job and that you really, really love what you're doing. I think everyone's done jobs where they're like, well it's a paycheck, but I can't wait to go to work."

Well, practice your tasteless bathroom habits some more, hon, and we'll see you on the set of the Bridesmaids sequel!
