Are you all still into the doc drama going on over on Grey's Anatomy?

We know watching hot stars like Mr. Patrick Dempsey swap spit while serious surgery stories play out is hard to pass up, and that's why the soapy series is still going strong in its eighth season. But prepare yourself for less drama and more...comedy?!

So says one of the show's stars:

"This season we are definitely going to be more funny than in seasons past," Sarah Drew (aka Dr. April Kepner) dished to us at the seventh annual Pink Party. "We're gonna make you laugh."

Funnier than that musical episode? In that case, we can't wait.

But what about all those sappy moments that left us misty eyed?

"Don't get me wrong, we're still going to make you cry," Sarah reassured us. "But I think this season is more funny than we have ever been...a twist from our normal drama! Our readings have been hysterical, so I'm really excited for this season to start and for all of our fans to see a little something different."

Well, in that case, we're down for some hilar hospital hijinx.

And if laughter is the best medicine, Sarah's real bun in the oven should be in great health.

"I feel so much better than I did," she told us. "I was really sick in the beginning, but things are getting so much better. I still get really tired, but all in all, things are really good, and we are so excited."

And as for if she's expecting a boy or girl?

Sarah says, "We want to be surprised, so we aren't going to find out the sex of the baby."

We just hope none of those silly TV surgeons get too caught up in their roles and try to deliver her baby themselves.
